Samsung’s OLED TVs Now Support Both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Pro
Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs will support Nvidia G-Sync , marking a major boost for console and PC gamers. Combined with Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator technology , which supports up to 165Hz , the new lineup promises smoother visuals and sharper clarity — especially during fast-paced gaming moments.
The addition of G-Sync helps eliminate screen tearing and stutter by syncing the TV’s refresh rate with the GPU’s output. According to Samsung Executive Vice President Kevin Lee , the new OLED series is built to deliver “elite-level performance for even the most competitive players.”
In addition to Nvidia G-Sync , Samsung’s 2025 OLED TVs will also support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro — the highest tier of AMD’s adaptive sync technology. This brings features like FreeSync HDR and up to 120Hz refresh rates in 4K , improving compatibility and performance across a wider range of GPUs.
Samsung highlights that this dual-sync support, along with existing features like Auto Low Latency Mode and the Samsung Gaming Hub , creates a robust gaming experience. The new lineup also introduces AI Auto Game Mode , which automatically adjusts picture and sound settings based on the game genre and scene content — eliminating the need for manual tweaking.
A new Game Bar feature lets users tweak settings on the fly without leaving their game — a handy addition for quick adjustments during play.
While hardcore gamers may still prefer high-end monitors over a TV for competitive play, Samsung’s latest upgrades make its 2025 OLED lineup a strong pick for casual and cloud gaming on the big screen.
G-Sync support will debut on the S95F model , with a gradual rollout to other 2025 OLED TVs later this year.
