Despite CD Projekt RED’s repeated claims that Cyberpunk 2077 is largely complete, the studio continues to roll out major updates. The latest one, Update 2.3 , is set to bring a fresh wave of features, performance improvements, and visual upgrades — not to mention a new macOS version of the game.

Performance and Visual Upgrades for All Platforms
Gamers with AMD Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards will be pleased to hear that FSR 4 (FidelityFX Super Resolution 4) is finally coming to Cyberpunk 2077. This next-gen upscaling solution promises even better image quality and performance — though it will require a new AMD graphics driver to unlock the feature, which hasn’t been released yet.
Alongside that, CD Projekt RED has improved support for FSR 3.1 , bringing better frame generation and visual stability. This version works with any of the game’s available upscalers, including DLSS and XeSS , giving players more flexibility in how they balance performance and image quality.
And for console players, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support is finally coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S , helping to smooth out gameplay and eliminate screen tearing.
New Gameplay Features: AutoDrive and More
Update 2.3 isn’t just about performance — it also adds some exciting new gameplay features.
