All Eyes on Google: Pixel 10 Launch Event Is Coming Soon
Google has officially confirmed its next major hardware event under the “Made by Google” banner, set for August 20, 2025 , in New York City . The event will begin at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT / 5 PM GMT , and is expected to be the official stage for the launch of the Pixel 10 series and possibly other new products.
Earlier rumors had suggested an August 13 date for a Pixel-related reveal, but it turns out those reports were off by just one week.
What to Expect from the Pixel 10 Lineup
Fans of the Pixel brand are in for a treat, with expectations high for a full lineup of new smartphones:
- Pixel 10 (standard model)
- Pixel 10 Pro
- Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold — the next-gen foldable flagship
Recent leaks have already revealed some details about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold , including rumored IP68 water and dust resistance , suggesting a more durable and premium build.
All new Pixel phones will be powered by the next-generation Google Tensor chip , fabricated on a 3nm process , promising better performance and improved battery efficiency.
Design and Camera Upgrades
While the overall design of the Pixel 10 series is expected to remain largely similar to its predecessors, Google seems to be focusing more on internal upgrades and camera enhancements .
The Pixel 10 Pro , for example, will reportedly feature a triple rear camera system , an upgrade from the dual-camera setup seen on the Pixel 9 Pro. This suggests Google is aiming for even better photography and AI-powered imaging features.
As expected, the new Pixel phones will also come packed with a range of advanced AI tools , including smart video editing features , real-time translation, and more intelligent photography enhancements.
New Pixel Watch Expected with Improved Battery Life
In addition to new phones, Google is rumored to be launching the Pixel Watch 4 at the event. Unlike Apple and Samsung, who have been slimming down their smartwatches, Google is reportedly going the other way — making the new Pixel Watch thicker to accommodate a larger battery .
This change, paired with improved software optimizations in the next version of WearOS , could finally bring the kind of battery life improvements Pixel Watch users have been waiting for.
There are also hints that Google might introduce a new version of the Pixel Buds , though details remain limited at this point.
